Blower Motor I probably can't help much, my manual only goes back to '98. I just did the blower in my 99. I didn't have to cut anything, but it was a tough enough remove/replace that I thought about it.

Huh? My '99 sts basically doesn't disable TC. You can turn it off with a button on the console, but if you get wheelspin, it turns still engages. Always seems to go thru all 4 gears, on or off. I guess the programmers think they know best... ;)
