I have a 2004 LS with the premium 12 speaker sound system. On my display right next to the emblem for the CD in postion #6 there is the letter "T" displayed. Does anyone know what this means? By postion #6 I mean the little circle that shows there is a cd located in the #6 slot.

I had one of those on my Bonneville SSEi supercharged before I sold it after I got my LS. Took it off because It was soaking up as much heat as it was suppossed to be blocking. When it got hot, you couldn't touch it. Some sort of plastic or composite material would be tons better.

Yes, is all installed per the instructions. I am not worried about the sound any more after researching it the last two days. Drove it today and as I said earlier, I like the sound.

Thanks to all those that replied to my post. Did search on "cold air intake whistle" on google and got a ton of hits. Whistle is quite normal with CAI. Even found some sound bites from other installs that feature the whistle. Found threads on KKM, K&N, AEM and a host of other intakes where...

Noise is coming from under the hood. When I roll the window down and accelerate I can hear it. Started after KKM install. All connections are tight. Did not forget to tighten anything.
