No...the guys at Midas chked the pulley and everthing and its the belt that is making the sqeaking sound

I called the dealer, they told me its maintence problem so its not cover under the warrenty!! (isn't that convenient)...so off to the shop i go i guess!! Not a good start to my first Lincoln.

:mad: I just bought 05 LS, day after i bring it home, it started squeaking. I took it to Midas, they told me i need a new Serpentine belt, with labor $134. Is it worth it or is this something i can do for alot cheaper!! Please let me know if you have done this!! thnx

This mite be a dumb question but, i have read on the manual you should be driving in the gear D4 for city, but D5 offers better fuel economy. Which gear should i be driving under all the time??? thanks

I have 05 Lincoln LS i just purchased from a dealer...the morning after i purchased the car a squeeking sound was coming from the belt, but when the car is warmed up it goes away...the car is stil under warrenty for 30 days should i take it back or would a belt dressing take care of this issue...

Are you putting the map DVD into the DVD reader in the trunk? It has to go there, not in the CD changer behind the screen. Yes...but this morning when i started the car and hit the map button it did not show anything, except error message..is this common? Later on the day i started the car...

Hello...I have a problem with my nav system in my lincoln LS, it shows nothing and tells me to insert DVD map, but when i do it shows CD error, has anyone had the same problem?? Please help!!!
