    Coil (COP) sequence?

Interesting! Each time I've had the coils replaced, it's been in pairs. 1 & 5, 2 & 4 and 7 & 8. So, that leaves 3 & 6 left that have not been replaced - yet. Is this just coincidence that this matches up with the firing order? Hmmm... Thanks, Ray K.

    Coil (COP) sequence?

Thanks for the quick replies/info guys! Sorry I didn't mention up front that it was a V8. But I could have figured it out from the V6 information you gave. 1LoudLS, I appreciate you fixin' it for me anyways. :) I'll probably ponder this for a little while, but I might just decide to go ahead a...

    Coil (COP) sequence?

I've been through what most any LS owner has been through - coil replacements. My 2004, at 68,000 miles is fortunately still within the extended program/warranty. So, at least it hasn't cost me anything, other than my time spent at the dealership. So, my question...what is the sequence of the...

Help me identify two cables?! w/pics

You sure about this? A cankerzam or muntranami maybe, but I didn't think a flux capacitor was available for this make/model/year.

Help me identify two cables?! w/pics

Sorry about the Bose slip-up. I'm on vacation this week and apparently my brain is also. There was another system available though, I believe...am I thinking of THX? Btw, I'm vacationing just "down the road" from joegr - The Grand at Point Clear. Thanks, Ray K.

Help me identify two cables?! w/pics

Okay, I guess I'm back to having cables in place for an aftermarket CD changer. Oh well... Thanks, Ray K.

chocolat, we must have posted at the same time. I was willing to go with joegr's assessment, but I really appreciate you taking the time to check your LS - thanks!! Interesting news to say the least! Thanks, Ray K.

Help me identify two cables?! w/pics

Sorry, meant 12 speakers! Unless we want to go the way of Spinal Tap and claim mine is 1 louder...right? Yes, a CD changer is what I was thinking all along. Just being wishful, I guess that it was "more." Thanks very much for your help! Ray K.

Help me identify two cables?! w/pics

Thanks for the detailed info. I'll have to take a closer look when I get back in town. I did take a quick peak and saw what looked like an amp under the center of the package tray. (looking at it from the rear seats in the cabin) At least it had aluminum cooling fins, so I assumed it was an...

Help me identify two cables?! w/pics

Thanks for the good guesses so far, please keep them coming as I'm curious about this. It could be for a CD changer, but I've not found anywhere that a mount was installed. I wouldn't think you would want a changer sliding around and such. I'm also not sure about the DIN connector being part...

Help me identify two cables?! w/pics

Our '04 LS was pre-owned, but as far as I can tell it is factory stock. However, I have discovered these two cables in the trunk and am wondering what they might be for. They're located Passenger side, just behind the rear seat and tucked away behind the carpet/trim. I've never had A/V gear in...

Cool options no one knows about the LS's.

Auto-Dimming Rear View Mirror - The auto-dimming interior rear view mirror feature is shut off when shifting to Reverse. Shifting out of Reverse allows the mirror to return to auto-dim mode.

    Free Service Manuals

I downloaded the 04-05 manual again, downloaded/installed Daemon Tools 4.0.3 X86 (Win XP version). Rebooted and have the Daemon icon in the tray. I right click and select Mount Image for Device 0: [E:], select the 04_05.iso file and click on Open. I get a very brief "Please Wait" message from...
