Lol. well I don't smoke, never use it - and it only pops open when i put my phone between the shifter and the ashtray - think i might just glue that sucker shut. ghetto i know -but I seriously never use it and will be the only owner this car will ever know.

This morning on my way into work my dash ashtray decided it no longer wanted to stay closed. I push it in - no lock - and it slides back out. I haven't had time to get in there yet - but thought i'd post up real quick and see if anyone else has already fixed this issue. Gratzi.

I'd start by giving that paint a good buffing - it looks like it could really use it. The clear on these things is pretty solid, so a good buffing will do it a LOT of good.

Full replacement it is then - any suggestion on which brand to order? Rock Auto 10 different manufacturers.

Never - only the plugs were done , car has 130K on it. The plugs were upgraded and replaced about 30K ago. Is there a way to pinpoint the coils as the issue? Found good pricing on Rock Auto - any suggestion on which brand is the best for the dollar? Thanks guys.

Got the car back on Tuesday - yes it took them much longer than I'd hoped - but was finished sooner than they had thought. Car is silent as the day I got it - runs smooth, no sound, no shake, and just over all feels more solid. Here is a pic of the issue that caused it all:
