actually looking for a 12.00 index car my car eventually ran 12.40's ,if i could get 1000 pounds off , that could be close to mid 11's when i say gutting it , i mean everything non functioning lexan door windows, kirkey seat , manual non abs brakes , 5 gallon cell,no bumper supports ...

haven't been on in a while , board looks a bit different anyway, i've been in the market for a cheap bracket car , and i am still under the impression that a mark8 is probably the cheapest car to buy and run 12's with anyone get into gutting the death out of one , swapping in a c4 , or just...

i've had a few jeeps and they have all been great for me , i'll end up with another one probably even mine back i just need something for the winter

well i traded my lincoln for a jeep, it didn't go far though , my brother has it so i'm sure it will still get raced and modified and broken and back in my possession ...lol

i got an alt. that my buddy had laying around , the car is now charging but the battery light is still on... WTF

I paid $40 , wish i found the $78 guy

alt. is only putting out 10.5 volts ,thats what i get for trying to use a reman , guess i'll refinance the house and buy a new alternator ..lol

i'm going to test the alt. tonight , i don't think it is working , the wire to the battery is fine and the wire to stimulate the alt seems to be fine i checked to make sure the alt. was grounded and that seemed fine

i replaced the alt with a rebuilt unit , i just bolted it back on , i didn't know of any special grounding points , nothing looked to be suspicious

i'm sure this has been brought up , but the forum search isn't working the bat light came on a couple nights ago , kinda flickering , i turned all of the accessories on and it dimmed and went out so i figured it was over charging , i'll replace the alt. , i had to limp it home and the bat...

its my daily driver , sometimes it gets a little dirtier than i like it to be ...lol i wanted to try the sway bar removed but haven't got around to it yet the smoke was from the burnout (i hope) , i haven't noticed it smoking yet
