On a side note all my other gauges have had no issues.

Recently my speedometer needle has been acting up. There seems to be no pattern other than its just cold here. The needle doesn't move at first the violently jumps from 0 to current speed back to just sitting on zero. It repeats this process in no particular order for a little while then works...

I've got an 03 with 97000. Either previous owner took super good care or the second gen was defiantly better made. The only thing I need on mine is tires. Otherwise I'm firing on all 8. Response is great. And all the extra features work just fine. Good luck with your 05.

You didn't do the switches right? Just the map and dome lights? I'm planning on changing all switches and buttons to red.

I have all that except the thx nav. I've got the 6 disc changer with 12 speakers. And I'm not sure about the side curtain airbags. But yeah, hid, rear park assist, advance trac, adjustable pedals, seats, and steering wheel all memory.
