Did you lose back pressure by just cutting it off? And did you feel more power when you put mufflers back on?

So when people replace the 3rd cat with dynomax mufflers they aren't replacing it with a x crossover? and just running straight pipes until it gets to the dynomax mufflers????

New owner of 1995 mark viii lsc. Very interested in doing exhaust. I understand that mufflers and sound is all personal preference, but I'm trying to figure out what mufflers and X crossover work the best for installation and will work not the mark viii. Im trying to spend least as possible but...
