I agree with his question as to which would be the best amp. But I think the pop is actually coming from some bad capacitors in the amp. I just dont know which capacitors. So I'm also guessing that the connectors are the same for the earlier model amps?...

I've had this issue with all exterior and dash lights flickering when cold and humid. On extremely cold days the light are on even if the headlight switch I turned off and the gauges don't work. after a few minutes of driving the lights start flickering and the gauges go crazy. A few more...
