    cold starting issues

Hello! The temperature has been decending every day and today morning my '98 Conti didn't start. Outside temperature was about -6'F. So when I started cranking, everithing was ok, but I heard explosions from only maybe 2 cylinders. So every revolution the same cylindrers fired, but it didn't...

Looks like I might have something in my Continental

I use 2 feet when accelerating. Left one is on brakes and right is on the accelerator. First I hold the brakes and gently press the accelerator until I reach 2000 RPM. At that moment release the brake pedal and press the accelerator with "feel". You can not burn the tyres or press the pedal to...

Looks like I might have something in my Continental

I liked Your videos, so decided to take one also! It is a '98 Conti. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnwsBVBky94 I'm stallin' a bit without traction control and floorin' it. Road went slightly uphill. You can hear a sliping belt at 6000 RPM.

    My New Tank

It is really interesting, my Conti has got this damper system on back suspension. I checked factory DVD and found that there are no other differences than eliminating damper and it's mounting brackets on '99 and up. So it seems that dampers are just a waist of money on older models. If I brake...

    Alpine System a complete Fake!!!!!!!!!

It is '98. If I push the audio system too hard, the licence plate and some plastics begin to rattle. But there is no need for that. As pokeeto2 said- the system is just acceptable. I'm totally satisfied with it. One more thing, do You fellows know, that Our Continentals have got speed...

    Alpine System a complete Fake!!!!!!!!!

It is interesting that JBL logo appears different in various lightning conditions. Sometimes it is 3 dimentional and seems golden. Next time it is flat and silver. One logo can make such a big difference in values.. Some teasers..

    Alpine System a complete Fake!!!!!!!!!

I must say that I can listen music even at high speeds like 75 MPH. I can hear bass and highs over the road and vehicle noise. I like the JBL system very much! And I also like imprinted JBL logos on a wooden trim panels on driver and passenger doors, that symbolises quality and...

    Interior noise problems

But sound dampening materials do not reduce noise produced by loose plastic or vibrating relay. I think it is possible to reduce road noise by choosing right tires. I came to this cause my friend had same problems with his Chrysler 300M. He tried 3 different tires like Michelin Pilot Primacy...

    Interior noise problems

Am I the only one who is concerned about Continental interior noise? I like the car but the only problem is with noise. At slow speeds I start hearing something screeching in dashboard, then jumps in glove compartment and starts ticking, after that joins front doors trim panel and so on. Now...
