I would say they are guessing because they said both head gaskets not one and the repair cost is insane.I have no water in oil no smoking my car isnt missing or anything.I found a motor with 23000 miles alot cheaper than ford repairing my car so might just go that route. Thanks for the feedback.
well here i go again i replaced the aftermarket bottle with oem and same problem but now i cant even drive very far without temp going up.The degas bottle is filling up way past the cold fill line while driving, opposite of what its supposed to do.My car is at ford now and they checked it for a...
well i didn't get it.It still rises on me in stop and go traffic so i drained the whole system and made it worse. Now i can't get the defrost to get hot and the degas bottle is filling while driving then when i stop the car it sucks into the motor. What is the dccv function or purpose?
yeah thanks for the info but almost every part that is associated with the cooling system is brand new and i do mean just about everything so maybe just trapped air that i'm not getting out but i am bleeding the air properly as per the instructions iv'e read up on.
I have to ask if my 2003 lincoln ls v8 has some sort of overheating problem could this dccv be part of the problem or is it only associated with the heating and air conditioning?
haven't heard but aluminum would be cool.I bled my system according to the instructions to the t and so far looks good but haven't driven it down the road very far yet.Keep my fingers crossed

I will try it again tomorrow and follow the steps very closely to make sure i get it done correctly because it never did it before i changed the degas bottle.Thanks.
i have already bled the system and yes i know what i'm doing i have replaced everything on my car myself radiator, water pump, cht sensor in which i had to remove the intake manifold and every plastic part on this car and i will make as many threads as i feel like to whoever posted that!!!!!
