Anyone know what size the bolts are for the rear subframe? Looking for Strength, Length, Diameter, & Thread Pitch Tks

I just never understood the point of lowering. IMHO these cars are already lower than most. What would be the point of lowering it more? It would be nice to get a jack under it if you have to change a tire never mind speed bumps and pot holes.

Don't think that's the EGR valve but I was able to access the bolt by pulling the upper intake. The EGR valve on the V6 is on the front of the intake. Follow the vacuum lines that run from the part you posted. One line will go to the EGR valve

It's the rear most bolt that attaches the subframe to the body on the driver's side

Took the LS in for a 4 wheel alignment and found out the rear drivers subframe bolt is broken off inside the bushing. I'm hoping I can get to it and work on it from the top inside the car but expect to cut a hole in the floor to access it. Anyone have any pics where the end of the bolt would be...

Interesting... I assumed that the PCM was looking at feedback from the coil circuit to determine misfires. This might actually be better. I agree that it's probably better to just replace the coils with the correct parts and be done with it but where's the fun in that? :) Thanks for all the...

Sorry to hear about your car. That really sucks. Get a civil suit started against the driver. You may not get any money from them today but one day they'll want to buy a house or something...

I'm thinking we'll need to double up the coils because the PCM will be looking for the feedback from the coil it wanted to fire. If we put the ground signals in parallel the coil should fire as a wasted spark but the PCM will likely report a misfire. Right now the only real issue with using...
