Thanks guys for the replys ill try to replace everything i can downthere so i dont have to get dirty again for some time...

just wondering if there are other brands other than motorcraft that are of a good quality when it comes to control arms ???i need to replace both front upper and lower in both sides.....

Im doing my best to keep this car runing since its paid for . If i dont get this few things fixed i may end up trading the LS for a superduty truck ...

so after replacing the factory thermostat housing in my 00 ls since i used one from the junk yard the damn thing went out on me again and now im wondering were can i order EVERY part including hoses and radiator so i can do a complete replacement of all the parts????? the dealer wants too much...

No the battery light was not on the batt checks out good too and yes its going to be easy to get it out this time :D. im just wondering why is the car runing on the battery alone ....

Joegr all i know its i took the thing to autozone advance auto parts and another place were they rebuild alternators and they all say it was good . i dont know the details of how they test it . and now to make thing even better after i put it back in the car the belt start it to make noises and...

well the alternator was tested in 3 diferent places and its working . now what else can i check ?????

yes it was a motorcraft ,tomorrow ill be going to a place here in houston where they rebuild the old cores i dont want to blow 300+ on another motorcraft since i plan on selling the car later on...

victory its MINEEEEEEEE.......... the next alternator on this car im not doing it i will put the car on sale and tell the buyers . you only need to replace the alternator , should be a easy job....:D:D:D

Ok so i can see about 1/4 of the sleeve sticking out , should i try to push it in ? Before i keep trying ??????

i see the tip of the sleeve sticking out a bit should the sleeve be all the way in so that the alternator can come out or is it a small sleeve that van be pull out ?its too dark now and this thing wont come out so tomorrow ill keep trying ....

well im outside i got all the 3 bolts out including the one on top but the alternator its rotating like the top bolt its there but i did get it out . now what ??? im i missing another bolt??? good thing my 9mm and other fire arms are not near the garage...:D...
