and i have all the symptoms on a failing throttle position sensor

when i scan it i get throttle position sensor and all my coils are brand new they only have 2k on them

i have a 2002 v6 btw

u guys have any ideas y the sensor keep failing 1. on was from advance auto 2. found on around my buddys shop 3. came from dealer 4.came from dealer i dont understand it at all how they r going bad so first u guys have any idea of things that it could be cuz im all out of them

2002 v6 137k fully rebuilt engine with about 3,000 miles on it

i checked the voltage coming on of TPS connector its not enough so i found a ford focus connector laying around the shop and got a different reading so im gonna get a motorcraft TPS connector 2mow from the deal...

and its a 2002 v6 and i replaced the Throttle Position Sensor already

i meant the plug that goes into the ECU when i said PCM

i'll let off gas my car rpms stay the same and it wants to go like the throttle is getting stuck when i step on the gas its very slow to react

my cars at the shop and it need work the guy says i need a shift kit installed to improve my shifts of the car he wants like $650 the part cost under a $100 bucks plus trans oil and a filter i think that way to much for the little work that needs to be done

about how many hours does it take to finish

my engine sounds amazing no belt noise or any problems beside the transmission im pretty sure b/c it was sitting so long and its breaking in fine im at about 1,200 miles so far i got my first oil change the other day and im also getting my values tightened this week. everything inside my engine...
