    What was the Best Mark VIII

    I have been finding the 98s from 5k and up depending on the mileage, Something with 60k on it is around 6k the lsc are a little more. I am looking for a 98 red lsc at this time with good mileage. I came across a nice silver one but silver is not my favroit color.

    I am looking to buy a different Mark VIII, I have a 96 now and may use it for a project car. I am leaning towards the 98's.Is there huge difference between the years besides the body changes, or is it just a personal thing if you prefer the gen 1s or the gen 2s.

    Thanks guys this is exactly the information I was looking for. Like I said in the post I don't what to go too wild with the car just some cost effective inprovements. hmmmm I can always use the kids college money. On second thought I will let them go to college. Get them out of the house quicker.

    Fixed It!!!

    I have a 1996 mark Viii that was running hot. I change the t-stat, didnt fix it. Change the radiator,didnt fix it.Changed the temp sensor,didnt fix it.Finally changed the water pump FIXED IT. I didnt think it would be the water pump because when I tested it it seemed to be working ok. Anyway...

    First car was 1969 GTO 400 4speed 456 rear end . Very Fast Sold it and built a drag bike.

    Thanks for all the input, The temp at the crossover was 217, I will try to change the sensor next.
