I've got 18's on my 88 Mark Vii. 18x9 fronts with 245/45-18 and 18x10 rears with 275/40-18 tires fit great. Check out my pics on this site under Frisco.

Just went throught the same problem with my (new) 88 Mark VII. I to thought it was a fuel problem, acted just like yours. When I read the Engine Codes it said I had a bad Ignition Module. I replaced the fuel filter, ignition module, coil and still had an intermittant problem. I started checking...
I've had several Mark VII LSC's, and haven't been without one since 1986 when my wife and I bought our black on black '86. I just purchased an 88 off ebay last May and the car is a beauty. It is a one owner southern California car with 86,000 miles.
