[FOR SALE] - Parting out '97 LSC black on black This is the for sale post. I remember exactly what he was looking for and I don't beleive he commented.

Around 3 years ago (the last time I was able to log into the site), I was parting out a 96 or 97 LSC, and a member sent me money for parts, and due to some very unfortunate circumstances of which I do not want to discuss he never got his parts or his money back. I do not remember his username...

There's still tons of good parts left on this car, the headlights, alternation bracket, safety airbags, rear neon, and cupholders have been sold.

Well I thought the car was sold...the guy gave me half the money as a deposit and was supposed to come get the car today but instead he had to get his deposit back... :( Anyway parting is back on, not going to deal with Craigslist anymore. Make offers on anything!

I finally got it. Heat and channel locks did the trick. No more overheating. I feel like an idiot because in the back of my mind i knew i had to do that. LOL live and learn.

I cannot for the life of me get the top off of the fill port of on the crossover pipe, I'm afraid I'm going to break it off the pipe or break the pipe itself, but that makes a whole lot more sense...

Hey guys, need a little help here. The car is a '97 LSC, 104K miles, bought it around a month ago. I noticed the anti-freeze looked pretty old, so I decided to change it out along with the thermostat. Drained and flushed the old out, filled it back up with coolant and started the car...

Thanks for the advice, I did end up using a chisel bit. I had 2 pins in there, that rivet type one and a smaller aluminum one. I got it though. All in all, not too bad of a job, definitely easier than the LCA's. Now I just need to get an alignment Monday and I'll be good to go!
