I bought mine beat.. All I have put into it is vcgs, coils and plugs, tires, sway bar bushings, and front wheel bearings. Total way below a grand and all the work was done myself.. Besides a bad battery, it's never left me stranded the 4 years I've owned it :)

Last week was the first time I had it running in 6 months so I didn't really have much time to screw with it. It seems like its been getting worse (maybe because its been sitting without use for so long?) but when I put the wheels on last year I didn't see anything unusual.

I'm asking because my pass. rear sits lower than the rest of the car. It's really noticeable when the 20s are on and that's the only side that rubs. It also leans to that side. On a flat surface, I can get like 2 fingers in between the fender and tire and the other I can get about a hand and...

And he said he took it out after having it put away for the winter and after returning parked it under the tree.... ;)

Where are you finding it for under 2.85 in Iowa.. That's the cheapest price I could find. And on the way back home, it's 3.33 and regular is 3.75

I wonder if the ABS module is the electrical problem? As for the squishy, I would think master cylinder like Chris said. Master cylinder isn't too hard to replace.. Be sure to pre bleed it before you put it in though

^ +1 Why was it "not pratical"? You said on the hwy, it got over 26 mpgs..... Plus you got it in there and running.. Just wondering is all.. Btw, great work with both projects!

We use 2.5 gallons a week in our work trucks... Maybe get 650 miles a week but run 50 hours too...

Haha dodges smoke anyways But if I made mine smoke any, I would probably jack up my injectors or head gaskets...... :rolleyes: lol

Thanks man! I like it so far :) It's tuned really good right now and a WOT run will only give a slight puff of smoke. Pretty impressed with the custom strategy tune.
