All great points. I took that approach with my previous head unit and was not satisfied depending on the phone. Frequently struggled to get accurate position, overworked the battery (was always extremely hot), and just did not like depending on it. With that said, I'm all for minimizing...

T-Stat Housing -- 2003 V8 Any idea where to buy one besides the dealer? Every place I go seems to only have the single outlet straight piece. I need the double outlet/inlet with 90 degree angle. Clip is broke that holds the T-Stat. I tried glueing and of course that didn't work.:(

did a new switch fix your problem as well? my driver side works fine, although I hear clickingas it moves when I first open the doors (memory setting adjustment). Pasenger side won't respond at all, occassionally will let me move up and down only.

Nevermind. I took it all the way off. I used tape ilo epoxy on the brackets. Worked great. Thx
