    Folks: Just let go of my 98 Mark VIII :( and found a great sedan:) ...99 DeVille d'Elegance. What a ride!!! Question: When I shut off the engine, I still hear faint static out of the speakers. Even after opening the drivers door. Any body else experience this??

    98 Mark VIII pulls to the right while braking

    Well, according to my trusted mechanic, the L/M dealer was right on...it is the hydraulic pump for ABS. It's sticking badly. He's going to try a complete brake system "flush" and see if it will unstick the cylinder. ($89.00) Otherwise, it's a replacement pump for $1500.00+labor

    Folks: My 98 Mark started pulling to the right while braking. The L/M dealer shop replaced frozen caliper and brake hoses ($700+). It still pulls to the right while braking. Now they are telling me it's a hydraulic ABS pump and could cost me well over $1,500 to have it rebuilt...

    New Mark VIII coil spring conversion kit.

    I want to do the conversion. Question: Should I also replace the shocks and mounts while I'm under there anyway? Also, would I be better off getting a Lincoln dealer to do the conversion, or will my trusted mechanic do just fine? Thanks!
