    Flwmstr 40 series swap

The real drone fix. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D how-build-exhaust-resonator-tube-eliminate-drone A lot of people have had some real results using a tuned resonator tube attached to the exhaust to completely eliminate drone. Cheap, too. You could make one with an exhaust tee, and a tube of...

Yeah, the hood was slightly open... The passenger side window motor was fixed recently, too... Looks like the car might've sold... she took down the ad.

FS: 1996 Mark VIII w/77K miles in Tampa area

I've been looking for another Mark over the last couple weeks, and I found this Craiglist ad for a super-low mileage 1st gen Mark for sale. I ended up getting a 1998 here in Orlando, but I thought I'd share with any of you guys who are interested in getting a cheap, low mileage '96...

    I went straight pipes...

I lopped mine off a month or so ago and added tips exiting behind the rear wheels... sounds good sometimes, depending on the rpm and throttle position. I need to ditch the resonator & 3rd cat and see how it sounds... Then I need to ditch the Y-connection and go true duals...

    Intake Flapper Valves

The intake runners are the same length... it's just another set of the same... basically 8 runners are open below 3000-ish RPM. Above that, the engine breathes through 16 runners. This way, the engine has snappier throttle response and better torque (under 3K RPM, air is sucked through a...

    Intake Flapper Valves

Yeah, flappers.... didn't you know that the Marks have pudgy little women from the 1920's with short, greasy hairdo's dancing around the inside of the engine? "Autozone: the worst advice minimum wage can buy."

    steering wheel shakes when braking

Staying on topic: CBecker, I know it's been 10 days since you posted this, but I wanted to warn you. I recently changed my brake pads without doing anything to the rotors. My steering wheel wobbled back and forth when I braked. Also, my brakes squeaked really bad. The pads had a bunch of...

    New ten spokes for $100

I don't think those rims are new... It's a good price to pay to get a single replacement wheel, but kinda crappy if you want to buy a full set. You might as well buy some nice, new aftermarket wheels. $450 will buy you 4 decent 17" or 18" wheels... minus tires.

    Dads gone fishing!

I lost control of my 95 Z28 in the rain merging onto the highway last June and it nearly cost me my life. You should be careful in those cars. I slid sideways into a light pole and broke 5 ribs, fractured several vertebrae, had a collapsed lung, bruised kidney, lacerated liver, ruptured...
