Honestly don't, i bought one (2001) v-8 with bail barring out, ended up being more then just a bail barring. Bought it for 750 clean title, and 220k miles on body. Spent nearly 5000 into repairs and never ran that great either... sold it for 3500 and bought an 2003 without any issues and enjoy...

I had a crack in my oil pan, and it was dripping oil, not a lot, but enough to make a smell. My Mechanic said only way i knew to look for it was because he owned an 2005 and his did it for a little while before he ever knew what it was. cost me 50 bucks and got an oil change for free out of it.

The switch blade keys only work on 2003-2006, Lincoln LS, we tried on my friends 2002 Lincoln LS, and it wouldn't work, the locksmith we use said they where only made for 2003 and up.
