Im having trouble with my v8 2000 ls. No heat... should the bleeder hose stream coolant at idle, constant? Is coolant from it from the aux pump? My aux pump runs but no steady stream at all . How can I test the heater control valve?

im not trying to be difficult or dought your expertiese Im concerned about no flow from bleeder or at least steady long term flow. So am I to understand that because of crack no pressure and no pressure means leader won't show coolant flow as described in bleeding instructions.

Yes I've read most all, but I only have a stream of coolant after its closed a bit then I open it its hot but only streams for a bit then quits.seems liiebitvonly expelling the expanded coolant then stops realisticly shouldntbitvrun a steady stream till it runs out? And seems like air pocket...

Hello guys working on a 2000 ls v8 ... couple weeks ago thermstat was found to be stuck shut and temp guage went hot ... At that time while doing thermostate change and bleeding prosedure had heat in car when setting to 90 during bleed process Now I don't . No heat at all on any setting. Also...

well I found it code 22 must be a communication code error. The bat is fine even with load test. Like I was saying interior lights were on and headlights for cple hrs.the problem was a 5 amp fuse in the right kick panel. Not sure why it blew or sets off PATS and alarm after you undo the battery...

car is connected to a jump box . Why would red light flash and alarm go off

it appears to be 22 it displays a blink a paus a blink then a longer pause. It does this 10 x then goes off. Also when I disconnect battery leave off for a bit reconect then try to start alarm sets off (horn) still won't crank.

Well you were right again the thermo stat was tested in hot water against a new one and it didn't open at all were the new did. Is the a metal or something inside the center that goes bad? I could easily push open but it didn't in boiling water. Thank you guys!!

there wasent any visable loss of coolant till I started to bleed it after it over heated. don't think there stop leak in system Some times vent hose trickles sometimes shoots a stream 6 to 8 feet steam or mist only visable for 2seconds What about aux. Water pump .....will it hold back...
