I am having the same problem as the original poster four years ago. My 2003 T-Bird came with stainless abutment clips. The replacement Akebono pads (listed for LS, T-Bird and Jag S-Type) are too tall and won't fit with the clips in place. When I remove the clips, the pads fit perfectly. The...- DocDoug
