Came across these and remembered hearing about using these back when I had my Mark's so I figured I'd give you guys a chance. They came off a 14k mile car. $80 shipped takes em! Can get pics for interested parties. Also have almost the whole fuel system off same car.

Mine was doing that as soon as I stopped and it ending up being the idle air control valve. You can usually clean it and itll help, but itll go back to doing the same thing eventually pretty soon.

Try looking on the backside of the spokes of the wheel , normally you will find size and offset stamped on them.

Idles around 750-800. Doesn't seem to be TOO low. Cant be too sure though as you know how off factory Ford tachometer's can be. I just found it really odd that itll die when you put it in Second and not First or even Drive.

Did they give any kind of warranty on the work? Is it a big well known shop or just some mom and pop shop? If they are a bigger, well known shop like Aamco then you might be in luck and they might own a shop closer to you. Id at least give them a call and talk to them about it. Id talk to them...

If you're dead set on getting some flames just do them so they are barely visible and really subtle. Something like this wouldn't be too bad.
