Looks sharp man. I really like the wheels. Quiet a bit different from the last time we meet. Oh, and don't worry about the money thing, I don't know a lot of ppl that do.....Well, maybe the exception of Ken.:D

What types of brake pads are you using and how hard are you running them? For example, I experienced the same issue in the twisties, but I was running on the edge into every turn. Very hard on the brakes. I'm assuming since you have an 01 that you do not still have the factory pads on there.

But I have seen some with speaker grilles. Maybe the difference is in the factory sound systems, or maybe they weren't intorduced until one of the later years. I can't remember what year of LS it was that I was looking at that showed the speaker grilles.

It sits down in four holes with clips on the two forward holes, and there is about a 2 inch hole where the wiring comes thru, and the carpeting is cut out around that hole.

I've looked at picture after picture this afternoon, but I haven't been able to find a good one and I can't find anything in searching. My questions: 1) Will an 03+ rear dash interchange with an 02? 2) My 02 rear dash has a 6x9 under it, but has no speaker grille or holes on the top side...

I'm sure you went into fail safe mode. Most do. As for the AC and the spiked temp, have you checked the thermostat to see if it's stuck? How much coolant is in the reservoir tank?.....If you see fluid as you described from the driver's side, then more than likely you have a cracked reservoir...

No kidding. My wife told me the other night that she had a dream that we wrecked our LS. I just thought, that's the last thing we need right now. I've still not gotten my truck fixed from a minor fender bender we had last month.
