    '98 radio/windows problem!

    :eek: My 1998 Continental radio and windows may or may not work when my car starts! Sometimes, they work or DON'T work "in sync"...that is, if my radio is working, the windows will work. If one isn't working, the other will not either. Sometimes I'm driving and "poof" the radio turns on...

    98 Conti Electric problems

    My 1998 Lincoln Continental has sporadic problems with electric. The windows, compass, locks and radio don't always power up when I start the car. The weird thing is, if I turn the heat up and drive for about 15 minutes, suddenly everything powers up. aagh. any help?:eek:

    My 1998 Lincoln Continental starts up fine in the morning...but the radio, auto locks and "compass" on the mirror don't always start up immediately. Once I've been on the road for a few minutes, they "kick in" and start working. Anyone experience this or know why? Thanks. bobdirects

    Shield hanging off bottom of my Lincoln

    I went to my local dealership, found out this was my "deflector shield"...I need those plastic pins, like you said. I will try to find them at a small parts store. The guy at the dealership said he sold 'em for about $4 EACH...a parts store would sell me a whole bag for $4. :) thanks...

    Shield hanging off bottom of my Lincoln

    skid plate? I am not sure what it is...it is COMPLETELY beneath the car, towards the front. Looks like it is screwed in...made of a hard plastic or fiberglass.

    I have a 1998 Lincoln Continental, just purchased it used. The bottom front of my car has some sort of "shield" hanging off of it...what is this piece called, and is it a pain to reattach? Nice to see this web site--of course I just discovered it, having just got the vehicle! Bob:)
