When I had my last LS8 I replaced all the coils and someone herr told me the name of who manufactured them for Ford. They were at the time 180.00 for s dry of 8 on eBay and if I remember correctly it started with a V? Wife's latest LS had a bad coil and I just want to do the set. .... any help...

01 60k miles and 20.7 mpg average.

I just did mine on my new to me LS....had to do the last one too. Passenger side was off. There are 4 tubes....push them back on and use a zip tie to clamp.

Doesn't seem to be the issue.....this thing is driving me nuts.

Ok so I brought this up before and still haven't fixed it. When my LS is either stone cold and has sat all day, or if its still hot it starts perfectly. If I run it then let it set maybe an hour it'll crank for quite awhile then start. It usually helps to give it a bit of throttle...a few guys...

I love the 740 in your pic....I wanted a 7 series soooo bad before I bought my LS but I drove a few and 2 had tranny problems and the other one at 130k drove like an old truck....it wasn't cared for though....but after driving 3 and two having the same problems kinda turned me on them....still...

Well I got it running right and decided I don't really like having a car.....The LS is super nice but I'm a truck guy. 02 with 106k and all new tune up. 8 coils, plugs, VCG, and full service. Has newer tires, car is loaded. I have a new dual climate control valve to install yet, and it does need...

Can you get the clock spring out without damaging it? PM me about it if you get a chance.

What rims do you have laying around?

I'm not sure....maybe next tank I'll run some high test in it and see if it makes a difference....I've never had a car that high or low test made any noticeable difference.

Ok so I've had the fuel pressure checked, ran a scanner on it, tried pretty much everything short of throwing parts at it because I don't do that. My 02 will fire right up when cold, or hot, but let it sit an hour and it doesn't want to start without giving it a bit of pedal.....what gives?

So I did the search thing and saw a few things that were possible but I have an 02 V8 and I just did coils and plugs and VCG's....It did this before and still does. First time you start it for the day it fires right up but from then on it cranks for sometimes upwards of 15 to 20 seconds before...

How is the Chrome strip in the rear bumper? Mine is beat up. Shipping and price to 16828?
