Any help here is greatly appreciated. i gotta 87 town car. she started actin up by cutting off and not wanting to start. long story short i've pin pointed the culprit to be with in the emergency fuel pump resest switch. but not sure if it's the switch or the sensor or somewhere in between...

Try replacing the ignition module. i have an 87 towncar and was having issues with starting her up. then wait a sec(minutes to hours) and she would be fine. i replaced wires, plugs, rotor, cap, ignition coil. still happened. but dont buy a motor craft module. pretty simple to put on...
