I ran a '06 TC through the 1/4 mile in the low 15's. Mid to high 16's seems about right. Although, I would love to have a TC that ran the 1/4 mile in the 10's. But that's just me.:cool:

I'm TOTALLY stoked that the Townie has been saved! That being said, it's time for a REAL interior upgrade, drop the 'Stang GT engine in it, and keep it RWD! My next car, no question.

I totally hear the same thing! I have an '01 Sig, and everytime I turn left into a hard corner, I can barely hear the "chirping" moise coming from the right wheel. Any suggestions?

Once my '01 Sig goes out of warranty (75K miles, CPO car), I'm wanting to do an engine swap, and replace the stock engine with a 98-02 Conti engine. I presume that the engine and tranny will slide right in. Would this be possible? Anything I should be aware of? Your comments will be...

Congrats dood! That's a nice looking ride. You will like the improved ride (the 17"s ride better...same sidewall rating as the 16"s though) and the increased hp. My only beef is the mushy seats, but that's in the '06 Sig.

Dood, two things. One, the 2003 TC is probably the best year for that car. That was the last year for all of the PI parts (suspension, exhaust, headers, etc. etc.) that came from the factory. Little by little, every year Lincoln is dumbing down the TC with cheap parts. Two, oh sure, the...

I would have a technician check it out. That being said, the mileage is a big X factor. If you are on a tight budget, I would forgo the TC altogether, until you get into a better position, financially speaking.

I have a '01 Sig. On this car, and my old '95 (RIP), the seat would vibrate at high speeds. Is there anything that I (or a tech) can do to reduce, or eliminate, the vibration? It's more annoying than anything.

I would go with the '95-'97. The only thing is that the air bags will last you until around 100k (this also can vary due to geographical conditions, driving style, etc. etc.) The air bags themselves will run you about 800 USD, and a air compressor will run you around 600 USD. I had the A/C...
