I've never seen a message appear, but this happens in my 04 about 2-3 times a year. I read old posts about this that it is a temporary (brief) disconnect between the main computer and transmission. The computer beeps (similar to the one you hear when you're low on fuel). Nothing to worry about.

I have 87K and never changed mine or blown it out. I want to pull it out and look at it. How come any auto parts store, large or small never has one for the LS? I can just imagine what Lincoln charges for an OEM replacement!
