all of my stations do RDS for station name/song name and music genre, but never traffic, that sucks. I read the manual, and it also says RDS is not common in the US. Oh well, just curious if I was missing something.

How do you use this function on the radio, I can select it in the menu and hit scan, but it stops on random stations with no traffic broadcast. I was reading about it on wikipedia, and it looks like with some implementations it can auto switch to a traffic broadcast...

weak, they didnt time the trip meter too, I've been planning to reset my trip when my odo hits 66,000 so I can get ALL 6's, but I'll forget, it shouldbe coming up in about a month so we'll see.

Just had my 03 at the dealer for what I knew was a failing COP, as expected. However, I thought it was standard to replace the VCG as the source of the problem. They only replaced the one failing COP, and the service rep said "I don't THINK yours had any oil in the well." So is there an issue...

I don't think it's the same one, I remember a 2-tone orange, I think it was a Gen2, but I would definitely remember that awful interior. Exterior looks good, for a 2-tone.

I too, thought this went without saying. Of course there are a few other cars that I have to make sure the driver knows where they belong. Behind the LS.

I'm pretty sure mine says service transmission or something like that, but you're right, the message center does change. That's in my 03.

Hmm, don't know, I push reset and it only clears the currently displayed trip.

they are trip meters, they move when the car moves just like any other car except there are two. I found them useful when tracking mileage for work, but also using B to track gas mileage for the whole tank.

Might be worth cleaning the filter, if you slide the seat all the way forward you can reach it from behind the seat, its a round twist off filter that's supposed to be cleaned from time to time, although I've never actually cleaned mine. The filter is on the bottom of the seat near the front...
