I just drove it right now and it went into overdrive. Is there a solenoid switch for the overdrive? If so, could it be going bad?

Today I was driving down the on-ramp to the freeway and my car would not go into overdrive. Anyone know what it might be?

It all of a sudden it just now started. Ignition switch??

I have a 1995 Mark VIII and I just went to start it up. It would not start. All the gauges came up and the fuel pump primed and the battery is reading 12 volts. It doesn't even try to crank. I don't know what is going on? Is it maybe the starter or the ignition switch or something else...

My dad has a 1994 Mark VIII and the cruise control went out on it. Then like a week later the turn signals went out along with the brake lights. The cornering lamps work and the 3rd brake light works. All fuses are good. Is is in the coulmn or the flasher mechanism box??? We are stumped :/...

Well lets say the Mark was rolling at 45 and then stepped on it?? Would it beat more cars and from just a dead stop??

I have a 1995 Mark VIII with cobra wheels and no mufflers and everyone seems to want to try and race me. Is there much that this car could lose too?? I'm still new to this car and was just wondering. One of my friends has a 1994 Ford Tarus SHO with a 5 speed and another has a 1991 Toyota MR2...

My brother and I both have Mark VIII's and they both average around 12 to 13 miles to the gallon. What could be causing such crappy gas mileage? O2 sensors of MAF sensor? We are both lost. We do not hot rod them around either. Thanks, Vic
