Anyways I think your mph are right on I have several of slipd in the 13.8 a few hundreds slower 98mph close to 97. Your cars running strong NA.
For the fuel pump thing I really cannt hear mine but, I'll bet you some $ it works.

How does you kit work. Is it activated by the TPS volts or an actual switch mounted to the TB. Either way I would assume that IF all is properly wired BOth will activate together?

As for the tune you sent me I still cannt figure that out either cause it most certainly didn't remove the speed limiter. With my new tune I did notice yesterday when running data logs @ 110 it almost felt like it was surging slightly. Might be running out of fuel also. But that was the first time I felt that. I'm changing the filter. To check. Whats the spec on these focus pumps.
 
The HSW kit comes with a WOT switch that attaches to the throttle body. The SVT Focus pump is rated at 255lph and is good up until 400rwhp with stock 24lb injectors and no boost a pump. With a boost a pump it should be good until 450rwhp. The kit is all wired correctly, it's been double checked everything is working fine. I contacted HSW and they told me to lower my gap a bit, make sure the bottle is mounted correctly and to check the A/F ratio on the spray. They said it could be a good possibility I got a bad bottle fill as well. I'm uploading the stock BTCO tune in the car and will test it out one last time tonight on an empty road in 2nd gear or 3rd gear. I want to rule out that it's not the Sniper nitrous tune...

that the boot came down lower on the GMS COP's so they weren't making good contact with the spark plug so I just trim med like half an inch off of the boot and ever since then they have been working mint
 
The bad fill is very possible. Never happened to me yet but two friends both had issues popping caughing and all around poor performance. Both bottles filled at the same shop. I always thought it was an excuse. Its iffy cause you have some good power at times.

What do the plugs look like? Black brown white Blue orange shinny
 
Well I checked the plugs, they were at .038 but white, running lean. No sign of detonation though so I got lucky. So either the Sniper is messing up my air fuel ratio, which I doubt since htrdlincoln is running the same exact tune and is fine, or I have a fuel delivery issue. Gonna replace the fuel filter first and go from there. I have a feeling it's the pump though. If it is the pump, any suggestions for a replacement? Aviator pump or modify a Walbro 255 pump to fit?
 
My plugs always look white. Never runs real rich even around town. Look at the link I sent you about that. It was good news for me.
 
Your pump is fine. BUT you're sucking the bucket dry. Who installed that pump ? Although it's a somewhat direct swap, couple mods are needed to ensure proper flow at high LPH. I bet the pump is pissing fuel back into the tank at the fitting on top of the bucket inside the tank. Common issue.

Yes whats up with that!!!!!!!!! Thats the first thing I thought when I installed it. After changing the plug. I thought for sure the rubber hose was too big. So it is a problem. F that Its never a direct bolt in. Figures.
 
I should have known better. The inline pump is going on mine. That should help that out right?
 
A buddy of mine who is a Ford tech installed and wired the pump. He didn't mention any issues when installing said it fit right in the stock basket. What needs to be modified for it to not suck the basket dry? I can't wait to drop the tank again to mess around with it! :(

Htrdlincoln, so you're plugs are always white?? :confused: I would think with the dry kit of yours if you are sucking the basket dry you would have fuel delivery/pressure issues in the upper rpms and you would have done some damage to the motor by now. Knock on wood that's not the case! And maybe it is the Sniper that is making it run lean. White spark plugs indicate a lean condition there is no way around that. So I can't rule out the tune yet either... bummer.

Hmmmm.... I guess I gotta take it one step at a time, next step replace the fuel filter and get a fuel pressure gauge. I'm honestly running out of patience not to mention money to make this work. :rolleyes:
 
Yeah I hear ya. Ive posted that issue with the pump previously here. Never heard back that is was a common issue. Bought the pump from Bill should have been a direct bolt in. SO I WAS TOLD. I wasn't in this forum yet. I did call Geno directly and he said to use the in line BBK pump from summit. I guess I should have taken that advise. Good thing its in the basement. When doing the in tank pump It was noticable how the rubber fitting didn't fit as tight as the stock pump. Zip tied it and CROSSED MY FINGERS. I have run a good amount of Nitrous thru this motor. Still runs strong. Even before all the mods and sniper the plugs are white. Not like a carb motor. While running the Nitrous at night I can see a good bit of fumes from the lights behind me. LIKE ITS RICH YOU KNOW. Not exactly the data KK would call good but hey what you gonna do.

KK loves to talk a lot crap but yet he has a Mark VIII that runs 9.8 in the 1/8th mile. He thinks you can't run nitrous without having a wideband A/F gauge, when people have been running nitrous long before there was even such a thing. Not saying it's a bad idea it's just a little funny that he talks like he's done it all and knows it all when he doesn't. Anyways, back on topic, which inline BBK pump are you talking about, got a link? I may have to look into it...
 
Gotta be quick but it the BBK 255 $250 pump in summit. Nice pump.

A little history before I got the kit I was talking to my friend that interned with comp cams in memphis. He was at the gm school in Flint MI They tested his lt1 camaro on their kits when they where just getting into the nitrous Zex stuff. He also worked with the DOHC mod motors at the same time. SO it seemed like a good deal. I cannt complain its worked.
 
Also intrested in knowing about fuel pumps, I just bought a supercharger for my mark and need to tackle doing the fuel pump and trans cooler first.
 
Yea I like the Zex kits, I like their box which shuts down the nitrous if it senses a lean or too rich condition. There was actually a guy with an 08 V6 stang at the track running a 125 wet zex shot on a built motor. He sprays off the line and he actually popped a small wheelie :eek: on ET streets. His best time was a 13.2 at 104mph... he says he runs 14.4 on motor.

I've heard the zex kit shuts down in a lean situation. I have no idea how it would know that. Might be a sales gimmick.
 
There is such a thing as a lean shutdown feature, some WB02's have them... and they are designed to cut spark not fuel.
 
All I did with the stock housing was switch the two gaskets from the new pump housing to the stock pump housing and the pump fit nice and snug, and if you look on the website it does say that it requires some modification the directions he gives you suck though
 
I actually wired the pump bacxkwards the first time and ended up having to drop[ the tank a second time to switch the wires, that was me being an idiot though
