Well I was working on my cars this weekend and got something in my eye, had to go get it drilled out today... ouch.

OUCH!!!!!! That sucks man!!! Back in jan i stuck a screw driver in my eye...so i feel your pain!!
 
Had them on... the spec of metal was litterally too small to see... but it was big enough to bone my eye...
 
thats hideous. and the eye looks bad too lol. that sucks man some times short of a faceshield there is nothing that can be done. hope it heals quick.
 
I hope that you are doing good now Kid, damn that crap does happen been there done that.
 
That had to SUCK. As long as you're ok. I remember 1 time someone has a radiator prob and before I could say "Don't open That" I had a face full of hot antifreeze, and I just wiped and swallowed and went back to work.

You have safety glasses on?

I have a close friend who was framing in his basement.
Was pounding in a nail and it bounced back and stuck in his eye.
His son had to drive him in and get it pulled out.
He lost like 20% of vision in that eye after many weeks of painful procedures.
 
I HAD SAFETY GLASSES ON

Anyways... they tested my vision and my left eye I have better than 20/20 and the right is right at 20/20 but the doc said it should heal with no damage to my vision at all.
 
yup that sux kid, ive gotten lots of crap in my eyes through the years never needed drilling but sux none the less

Both my eyes looked like that when I was your age. :)
 
I feel you KK, when I was 19 I was doing 90 down the interstate to get to work at Opryland(anyone remember that place?) in my Hyundai & decided to open the vent to catch a breeze, I caught a high speed fleck of metal to my eye. I had to get it drilled out. THAT WAS FUN!!! They make you stare into the sun(or what seems like it) while they poke & drill your eyeball, all while telling you "DON'T BLINK". When I tell people about it I don't think they believe me. Now I has a witness! Sorry about your luck man.
 
You guys gotta stop, I can stomach a lot of crap but eyes are not something I can take. My eyes just watered looking at his bloodshot eyes.
 
hey KK did you have any Vision Protection Devices on? That might have worked better..... JK Ive had it happen nothing funny about it.
