Pete (Pektel) stopped over saturday morning and lent some of his detailing knowledge to me. I had never claybarred a car before, so we washed my car, claybarred it, he then applied some kind of glaze to fill in micro scratches in the clearcoat, and then we used his Rubbish Boys wax. The car looked 10 times shinier afterwards! And also there were tons of "holograming" and swirl scratches that I can no longer see. Thanks Pete!!

Unfortunately it was once again kinda overcast and just a little sunny so the pictures aren't that great, but still want to show them off :D . And I know there are a ton of water spots on the rim inside the rim pic, but hey, we were running out of time! :D

Next time you show off your detail job make sure you wipe off the water spots!:D

Thanks! It's a dark blue, that can look black, purple, bright blue all depending on the lighting.

i was wondering if its blue or just reflecting the sky. I love that color! Pete's car looks like ass, but yours looks great! Tell that clown to wash his damn car once in a while :D
 
His car is dark blue. My favorite LS color.

Werner, my car was not washed/waxed or anything. I drove like 250 miles that morning. And we ran a little late doing Nic's car. I estimated 2 hours. Took a little over 4 I believe.
 
Very nice, did he use the EZ Creme Glaze, the purple stuff? It's one of the best glazes on the market, hides everything!

Naw just bustin their Balls, WE know each other, they know Im kidding. And yes, the Gen 1s paved the way, But the Gen 2s are sooo superior IMHO.


But it could be because I just bought my GEN 2 less then 2 months ago, and I am still on a LS buzz...... But Petes WHEELS ROCK!!!! And I wish My Car was Blue like Nics.

I love my Silver..though I would enjoy it more at a platinum silver like the merc color but not worth the money just for a different kinda silver..........

and ya I know you were just bustin their balls...I was flowing with your joke :-D
 
Yeah I was down there for the day. I had to bring the girl to the airport. We left my hometown at like 5:30 that morning, so I was done with dropping her off before 10. Nic was not ready for my call at 9:30, as he had a pretty late night, and didn't get to bed til 6 that morning :lol:

Is yours Silver Birch Metallic? like Mine? or just silver.

My silver looks almost light pink champagne at dusk. but yea, I would love that Blue on my 06. But I like the Stock Aluminums on my Silver birch.

Car is in shop again, I have 200 miles left on factory, making them get EVERYTHING

So far they

Changed Tstat
Fixed Heating/cooling passenger seat
Re-sealed Sterring wheel (it was squeeking)


Now they are Finding cause of Miss at start up some times
Bleeding Coolant system , so I dont get gurgleing sounds under dash


Peeps at LFM are doing all they can do before my Warranty runs out. And I get a Loner car, Had a ford 500/mercury Montego, Now driving a fully loaded Milan. Nice car, no LS , but nice car.

Wasn't ready?! I answered didn't I :shifty: . And Paul, it honestly didn't cross my mind to call ya. Like Pete said, I wasn't running on much sleep and we didn't really have much time for anything but the task at hand. Next time buddy :) .

Yeah the gen 2s might be nicer, but at least you don't have the problems I do....oh wait, that's not a good thing :( :D
 
Oh and btw Pektel, I have you on record now saying that I have your favorite color LS and that my wheels are your favorite stock wheels, so, if I do run for LSOTM, I can pretty much count on your vote for mine??? Even if I do run against ya :D
