Unfortunately with black, that shine will look that good for about an hour. But it sure is shiny, nice work!

Very nice. It looks lowered, is it? I really want a chin spoiler, but I think it prob wont look as good on a car that isn't lowered

Looks good. And in my opinion (owning a black car) that black is the best looking car once cleaned and wax.

you need a new tail light. i bought a spare one off ebay once for like 20 bucks. great job on the detail. i've given up on putting so much work into mine since i've made up my mind about painting it but still, you motivate me to wax my baby

Not bad, a lot of my professional friends like keeping the 3M polishes in their lineup. Did you use NXT or NXT 2.0? Machine application or hand?

I think NXT, not the 2.0, I was not aware they had another one. Did the wax by hand, the compound and polish with the wheel. I also used Mequirs cleaner wax on the hood after the compound and polish as there was still some swirls, but that took care of them.

Yeah NXT 2.0 is supposed to be a lot better. The wheel as in one of those 11 inch spinning things? If so you might have just filled the swirls in.

Looks great! I am in the process of correcting the paint on a 2000 S10 Blazer ZR2 (sister's wedding present) and am regretting trying to tackle it. So many RIDS since she's driven it out in the woods, and I'm not going to wetsand it. Black sucks to get to look right. Nice job.

Yea, the 11 " spinning thing, if they are filled in or wahatever, as long as I dont see them :) There was not much, just some light ones.

do i detect fogged headlights?

Yea, I need them replaced, just have not had the extra money to order those ones that were on ebay for $100 each, I do have the link saved in my favorites for when I do want to order them, just not the highest of priorities right now.

Dude, I'm coming up by you so you can do mine :D

Bring it, we were going to do my brothers wifes Acura also, but there is so much fallout/ crap in the paint we need to remove before making that attempt.

i cant wait to get to NY and have the chance to clean, wax and buff my car :( only a month and a week!!!!

Yes it is lowered, used Sprint springs, that and the chin spoiler does not leave much ground clearance in the front, I usually hit the chin spoiler going in and out of driveways, and in the winter it is used as a snow plow.

If there's a lot of fall out check out Finish Kare decontamination systems. If that's what you used you def just filled them in, but if you don't care about complete protection and you just want it to look nice with minimal effort I'll be glad to send you a little of my EZ Creme Glaze whenever I get home from Philly (Go to school at Temple, live in SJ). Also if you want some wax recommendations feel free to ask or check the detail thread out if you already haven't.

I simply want to know what wax/cleaner products to use for a very lazy guy with 4 kids and no time (well not lazy in that one area I suppose:D ). I'd like to be able to do a nice detail job. But the reality is that I need something easy to make it look nice and prolong the inevitable.
