I met this guy a couple months ago {no homo} with a candy red lincoln ls with {swangers} on it...for those of you who arent familiar with houston, or texas for that matter, "swangers" are original 1984 & 1983 Cragar 30 spoked wheels that poke outside the lip of the rim. they range from 2500$-5000$ a set...Now he is apart of a well-known car club in houston called the "Redline".

In houston this is a must have to complete the {S.L.A.B}

Now i've been wondering about doing this for some time now, i just wanted to see what you guys think of it. if i'm going to get flammed i'd rather take the heat now {lol}.

p.s. i already know most of you will most likely not be feeling them, and i can't blame you...

any feedback is good
thanx for reading....

It's not for me, but it's your car. If you like it, do it. Hell, the worst we'll do is point and laugh... :D

looks like a scene out of a 1970s gay porn......havent seen none just what i heard

I wouldn't want a slab if it didn't have the fifth wheel in the back. I wouldn't do it on a Ls. If you do decide to do it, at least clean it up and have all lse mods if you dont already have them.

Hey who cares what we think :D
I'm curious, what sizes can you get em in? Most of them look like 15s or so but in on that blue Caddy they look a lot bigger? Are those genuine?

i'm neutral on the mod just do to the fact that it is your LS and you can do whatever you want with it. my only question is, why not get a car that is more along the lines of what those wheels were meant for?

all red cars in a club with all the same rims, In my opinion GAY. It's your car do your own thing with it. Why would you wanna be like everyone else?

I agree completely. Those rims would look great on a classic musclecar. But, to each his own.

I think that those style wheels are meant for old cars personally, but I've seen worse unfortunately.

Beautiful wheels, just not fit for the LS. but you do what you like. You're the one who drives it.

This is the car that comes to mind when I think of those wheels. 1956 Jaguar xk120/140 roadster. You should pick one of these up and slap those wheels on it. :D

these rims are hard to come by, and they are not cheap!...
for a 17 year old to be on 84's, its a blessing to me. working hard and being able to save that much {$$$}. and gay, i thinkz not! 24's and 28's look gay to me...

+1 but those are not good for a ls. IMO and prob 90%of everyone elses opinion. But it is unique.

That 300 looked ok with them but the Ls was fugly. And as for the fifth wheel in the back that was just retarded loooking. I would be ashamed to drive that. And even worse to admit i spent the money on that.
