Who has 6.5's in the front?

For some reason the search feature isn't working for me right now, so I'm just asking.


Right now I have a set of CDT Audio 5.25's for the front doors and they sound great, but I was thinking of going to a 6.5"

How much cutting is required for the 6.5's to fit? Here's the specs on the ones I'm looking at.

Mounting Depth 2.80
Mount Diameter 5.75
Overall Front Diameter 6.75



Also, if anybody is interested in the CDT's let me know, gonna put them on ebay before too long I think. I used them for a couple months with only 60 watts going to them, so they have not been abused by any means.

I have 6.5s in the front and rear doors...I cut an MDF adapter for the 5x7 opening then cut a hole right in the middle to mount the new speakers...wasnt very hard at all...

I have 6x8 Infinity components in the front doors and 6x8 Infinity kappa separates in the rear doors. Sounds real good with all the other stuff.
