New lawsuit possible, lawyer says, after Trump renews attack on writer who won $83.3 million award

An attorney for a longtime advice columnist who won an $83.3 million defamation award against Donald Trump suggested Monday that a new defamation lawsuit was possible against the ex-president after he resumed verbal attacks against her at a weekend rally.

Attorney Roberta Kaplan, who represents 80-year-old writer E. Jean Carroll, noted in a statement that the statute of limitations for defamation in most jurisdictions ranges from one to three years.

“As we said after the last jury verdict, we continue to monitor every statement that Donald Trump makes about our client, E. Jean Carroll,” Kaplan said. -snip

Judge dismisses some Trump Georgia election subversion charges but leaves most of the case intact

McAfee ruled that six charges in the 41-count indictment related to Trump and some co-defendants allegedly soliciting the violation of oath by a public officer lacked the required detail about what underlying crime the defendants were soliciting.

You call it nonsense, but many average, non lefty voters see these things for what they are- examples of the failed administration we have to endure. Is that picture actually a picture of a CVS or Walgreens or Target in a Dem run city after a visit from a flash mob? And it's quite suspect how 'truth' social managed to lose 58 million plus, when it only had a revenue of 4 million? Smells like another tax loss for him to claim, based on more dodgy bookwork! What will it take for these stooges and suckers to realise they are continually being grifted by an orange turd blossom ???

As the Brits say "In for a penny, in for a pound", Trumpers would rather go on getting conned than admit to themselves that they're still getting conned by the conman.

You had savvy inverters who bought the stock at under $40.00 a share right when it went public and then sold it off days later when it soared to close to $70.00 because of Trumpers mass buying like the cult they are, making a quick profit before the inevitable crash.

Now millions of Trumpers are left with a depreciating asset as TMTG's biggest property Truth Social is losing money, a loser just like Trump.
