Where can i get a rebuild kit for a lincoln ls transmission? my tranny went out and they said it would cost 3000 for a new tranny and close to 3700 for a rebuild if they do it.. it does not make any sense to me because the tranny shifts good and then it shifts into 2nd gear after a bout 10 to 15 miles . they reset the pcm and checked the "packs" and they said that that they were fine. if i stop and turn the key off and start again it does OK. seemd like a computer or sensor, to me but i just don't know... the gear indicater will trip a code "E" !! i have spent close to 700 sofar
