I traded a 93 ranger for this that I had 900 into so I think I got a good deal. She runs great no codes and the air ride is perfect, aside from some cosmetic issues I think it's a good solid car.
IMO, running and driving for under a grand is usually a good deal.
it needs some work, but it looks like a no rust, non sunroof car. and that's worth plenty.
I'm really impressed so far, the air blows cold and everything inside works I'm happy so far. I'm going to do an lsc clone and paint the grill and trim
Congrats man! LSC treatment makes hell of a difference and especially when the chrome is pealing like that. I did a front LSC treatment on my Ivory Mark VIII after I got it and it makes it look so much better.
This next two weeks, I am gonna give it a rear LSC treatment since I have all the extra parts needed to do it with out taking the car off the road. Plus need to do the rear bumper on my Silver Mark VIII since someone rear ended it in the parking lot and never let any info (A-holes)
Btw I got the paint from www.automotivetouchup.com and it matched pretty good. I would recommend them.
Thanks for the info i appreciate that, I'm undecided about what direction to take at this point, I'll either touch up all the paint and do the lsc treatment or I may just plasti dip the whole car a satin black or maybe even white. I haven't seen anyone plast dip a mark 8 so it might be cool. I plasi dipped a mustang red and liked the results
