At the 4 mile mark according to the announcer, I found a silver Mustang. ;)

The Mustangs were getting tired, so they found a Vette to run me. I had him beat in the 1/8th but he ran me down at the big end of the track! :D

All together, 25 runs down the 1320' strip! Over six miles at WOT, a 1/4 mile at a time! :D

:q:q:q:qing awesome man, that guy in the ford 4x4 your ass, lol. My friend had a gmc that was running low 12's. Them diesels get vicious.

The '93 is hopefully on it's way to getting faster. Problem is, it's taking much longer and costing much more than I thought. :(
 
I'm gonna guess high compression with some nice cams... the B heads really need a compression bump to make NA power...

Or maybe he ditched the mod motor entirely?

Stock Intake... you just can't throw that work of art away!
Worked over B heads
Some aftermarket cams
Compression bump up into a much higher area like 12:1
Forged Lower end balanced to REV....

RPMS are where it is at... but if you are gonna spin HIGH you will break the trans...

Talk to Johny Langton about that....
 
LOL, Langton is in a whole 'nother league. :D

I'm sure we'll be spinning the stock internals higher, just don't know how much yet. And when the time comes for the bottom end, the sky will be the limit (or the tranny). :shifty:
 
I agree he is in another time and place... he is running 1 second faster in the 1/4 with half the valves :D

I know that when you go above 6000-7000 rpms things start getting messed up in the trans... like the pump fall apart internally unless you weld the snap ring on, and you can snap shafts and balloon weak converters...
