Zephyr tail lights

does anyone how or if you even can remove the tail lights from a 2006 lincoln zephyr.

This is the LS section. I'd ask the question in the Zephyr section of the forum.

I'm not framiliar with the Zephyr but I'm sure its like any other car.

Open the Trunk
You will probably have to remove the trunk liner or carpet in the area you are working.

Its probably got some type of plastic wide head screws holding the carpet in place. Remove them and move the carpet out of the way. They you unplug the lights and remove whatever screws / bolts are holding the lights in.

Thanks for the help but I know how to take off a regular tail light like on my LS but when i tried to do the samething on the zephyr it wouldnt come off.

There might be some clips that hold it in after the screw come off. My friends g37 is like that. Just pull off with a little more pressure to come out. Dont force it, you might have also missed a screw so they are still holding on

Ya thanks Alax i thought of the clips aswell, but because the car isnt mine i didnt want to just keep pulling on it then have it snap off.
