I just recently replace my heater core in my 1988 Lincoln Town Car. The replacenment is a nightmare, anyways I completes the job put everything back together now my tempatuer needle rises very quickly as if the car is running hot, but under the hood there is no sign of leakage or steam; coolant just rolls over to the overflow tank and the radiator is makng a gurgling sound.
I think I have enough cooolant in car to fill the block. What could be the problem?

Welcome to the forum. Please note that you're posting in the wrong section for help on this topic. I'll give my advice anyway.

Did you burp the air out of the cooling system? If you didn't than what's happening is there's air pockets causing the coolant to boil because it's not circulating properly.
