Looking to get some lowering springs for my 06 LS. I know you can get them new easy enough. I was just going to see if I could find some lower mile springs for a little cheaper, since I also have to buy tires and adapters for the VW wheels.

I can't wait to see these wheels in your LS. I should be buying tires soon so I will let you know how everything works out if I get them mounted up before you do.

YA I can't wait either! I only have the wheels at this point but I won't be putting them on until spring anyway. Anyway you could give me the specifics on the adapters to make ordering them easier?

LS bolt pattern: 5x108
LS hub diameter: 63.4mm

Type: One piece adapter
Hub centric to car and Wheel centric to wheel
Thickness: 22mm
Stud size: 12x1.5
Center bore: 71.5mm
Diameter: 5 by 130

I made the thickness of mine 22mm to make the offset 38.

Here is a site that shows all the specs of the wheels:

If you have any other questions just let me know.

Thanks for the info, huge help!

BTW based on your test fitment, was the 38mm offset a good fit?

I think I would have liked the offset to be a little larger like 40 or so that way they will tuck in just a little more. Not sure what more offset would do for rubbing issues though, with the rims being so wide.

If I have time this week I will try to snap some pics so you can see what an offset of 38 looks like with these wheels.
