Wonk cruise control

not much info found.

Cruise works fine,all functions,,for awhile.

seems like after 50 miles or more it just shuts off,light goes out,car slows down.
restarting it will not make it work again.

stop engine,restart,cruise works again for another long stretch.

i can touch the brake and hit resume and it comes back on when working.

uphill or down hill ,bumpy road or curvy road it works fine,for awhile.


tried all combinations of cancel,on,off,resume,etc. cant get it to come back on except by an engine restart.

I just happen to think,i do have the pedals set all the way forward,but that should only affect the brake switch and cruise should restart ?

It'll still take a few days to get the adapter, but probably worth it in the long run if you plan on diagnosing and fixing this yourself. It picked up more codes than I ever wanted to see because it'll read every module.
