Where do you live

After spending time with my fellow LvC friends this past weekend, and after many jabs from our Chicago based Godfather Joey on my place of residence. (Hickville) I thought I would go out as do a little photo op of why I live where I do..

First of all I don’t have to drive 20 mph unless I am slowing down to stop, or going through a school zone.

Oh and I need someone to explain the meaning of Expressway…. What do they mean express, when it takes and hour to go 10 miles..

Anyway I have lived in Boscobel for 23 years now. When I got divorce many of my urban friends asked me why do you stay… Well it wasn’t my former wife who kept me here. In mater of fact she had tried to get me to move to Milwaukee once, and when I got the call from a place where I had applied with out thinking I said no…

Any where you go you have your pros and cons and Boscobel has many cons, but there is one thing it has that keeps me here..

Take a look…All pictures are less than 5 miles from my home and most are with in 3 miles..

Here is a view 3 miles west of Boscobel on Wisconsin Hwy 60. The Wisconsin River

Here you can see Boscobel coming down from one of the bluffs to the noth of Boscobel about 2 miles out of town. Shockly Hill

Here is a view of the Wisconsin River looking west as you cross the Boscobel Bridge on US Hwy 61 - Yes FreeFaller the same US 61 that goes to STL..

Here is the view of Boscobel as you come in on hwy 61 heading south.. Not much to see but...

These next vistas are from a county road just east of Boscobel on top of the ridge. Boscobel is not visible as it is in the valley. These pick are about 5 miles out to about 2 miles out.

Here we are back down in the valley just 1 mile out of Boscobel
First view is looking east then west towards Boscobel. This is another county road.

Some chic owns that one she works at one of our local dentist offices... I've been meaning to give her one of my cars.. It's a 6 banger..

There are a bunch of Lincolns in town but only one guy has signed up so far..

Oh buy the way I didn't see you flipping off the camera in that STL bar shot..but I think I saw pepperman snapping some up skirt shots LOL :N

Ya I got okay view we live in the country in South Dakota live off a golf course that was put in 3 years ago over a damn corn field WTF only people in neighborhood no golf cart. But Damn we got some beatiful sun sets. Crazy ass weather.

#1 I don't live in a trailer LOL..... Although the trail pics a while back were funny Joey..

But after passing the 5 mile + long line of traffic by Rockford on my way home and after spending time driving no faster than 20 mph for about 10 miles while coming to the meet, I remember why I love living where I do...

It takes me 3 hours to get to Chicago or the Chicago arean about 200 miles or so ... It can take me 3 hours just to get through Chicago.. Less than 50 miles... Hmmmm....

It's nice to be able to take my car out and run it!!! Oh yes I know I have deer to worry about but!! have you seen how people drive on the so called express way?

I live in beautiful, sunny, Central California in a small city called Visalia. We are about an hour south of Fresno and about and hour north of Bakersfield. For those of you not familiar with those cities, we are about 3 hours north of LA and 3 hours south of San Francisco.

We have some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. I've included a couple of photos of those and one of the Carrizo Plain which is about an hour's drive from Visalia.
