Rode in my budd's 91 eagle talon this past sunday and WOW!!!!!! the power that just comes out of the turbo's is WOW!!!!!!! ran a newer porshe( not sure if it was turbo or not) but the talon opened a ca of woopazz on that porshe...............the sound that turbo makes...makes me wannnn:eek:

Yeah, they're much more moddable/tunable than N/A cars. But....:rolleyes: They are still..........:shifty: GAY!
 
hey wilson your car is fast right, you should race my friends stock Mazda MX-6 only mod is a T fitting from ace hardware, 4 cylinder so it should be fair lol
 
wilson, heres a pic of what the car looks like but on his he has primer flames on the hood and 17 inch bronze rims.

I have a friend that has a 4 door hatchback version of that and its pretty much stock and it screams along pretty well too. I think they run 15.0ish stock.

I have owned both a 1988 thunderbird turbo coupe and a very rare 1985.5 mustang SVO as well as a 1986 mustang SVO. All 2.3 liter 4 clyinder turbos. They are fun however too much $$$ to make them fast! Then when you do make them fast things always break on them! I liked them cause they were somewhat rare and FORD products. Imports suck! A lot of folks don't bbelive it when a mark VIII smokes them! You can only force so much air into a four banger before it pops.
 
Oh, I will agree with one thing though, turbos are awsome! Think about though, a 4 banger cost so much to build up verus simply bolting on a supercharger onto a v-8. Put a turbo set up on a v-8! A guy here in vegas builds custom turbo systems for mainly fords. He specializes in lightnings and stangs. He is currently building a modular v-10 turbo set up for his lightning. It's going to be bad ass!

car runns.. low 11's and is pushing over 400hp.........

I think he has a ported turbo manifold, some sort of way to increase the boost as well as fuel mods to support the increase in boost pressure. I think it ran 15.0ish and it was having a lot of issues with a boost leak, I think it could be a low 14 sec car on a good day.

doh! is that a line from the fast and the furious? I doubt it buddy! It would run 9's with funkin over 400 hp. Those cars are like milk cartons....They weigh less than 2700 lbs. I know a guy with a car that weighs about the same and its FWD and runs low 12's with 275 hp....Add the AWD and however much more HP....
 
yea everyone knows some one with some miraculous talon or civic that runs 8's.. Those stickers and wing add atleast 50 hp.. get serious
 
ive owned a civic with a b16 fitted w. a T3 it was cool but the sound of my stihl trimmer in my ears all day along with looking at an interior that looks like it was made with recycled coke bottles... kinda something u grow outta like suckin on ur mom's titt... ps those numbers are tottally whack.. I guess if you cant impress them with your intellect, baffle them with your bullsh*t...

According to one of teh online performance calculators, a 2800lb vehicle, with 400HP, going through the traps at 8000RPM would do a 10.6 quarter. Add AWD and a top end charge, 11's are very much possible. Why do some of you always raise the BS flag, without doing research. All you end up doing is putting your own intellect or lack of into question.

much like a LINCOLN MARK VIII having 740hp only running 11's. you say that is b.s. .. well i guess i dont know what im saying then?:shifty:
 
Old people from the muscle car era always bash on 4 cylinders/6 cylinder ricers just because the 4 cyl/6cyls from there day werent as advanced as these ones... my dad is one of those people it was hilarious watching fast and the furious with him "THERES NO WAY THAT CAR COULD KEEP UP WITH THAT CHARGER THIS IS SO FAKE!" and in the second one "THERES NO WAY THAT CAR COULD EVEN COME CLOSE TO THAT CHALLENGER!!!" (Talking about a skyline lmao) I only dislike ricers because only about 0.4% of them are fast all the rest are people with 240's who have been going to drop an SR20 into them for years :rolleyes:
