transmission problem

My transmission on my ls is acting up it takes more than 7seconds to go into reverse not smooth at all. 4th and 5th goes in but losses power 2nd also need feed back on what to do should I rebuild it?

Sounds like a solenoid issue. That would be the first step before a rebuild.

I will be getting that part .... I'm going to post up some pics of changing my valve cover gasket and rebuilding the head
